Raids 2 Guide
Welcome to the raids 2 guide, here we will be going over the ins and outs of Raids 2. You’ll need at least a t31 mainhand weapon to enter this raid. This can be done in solos or all the way up to 4 man groups, in solos (not hard mode) the bosses will not have protection prayers. For each player in raids 2 the health scaling increases by 50%. Upon entering the raid you will instantly be met with the first boss, The Dino.
Dino
This boss utilizes the Protect from Range prayer on Hard mode, meaning you'll need someone in your party with an alternate T31 weapon. Dino will deactivate your prayers periodically if you're the one he's targeting, so keep an eye on your prayer at all times.
Dino will summon minions on each side at around 70% health which will heal the boss, so make sure to kill all of these before continuing to attack the boss or you won't be able to kill it.
When Dino is low health, he'll become invincible for a brief time - tank this phase out and eat food if you need to, then kill the boss and move into the next room.
In this area you will find four separate areas which can only be hit with range, each of which contains Frost Archers and Mages you will need to clear, in addition to sabertooths in the center aisle. Kill the mobs and move onto the second boss of the raid.
Ragnar Wolfblood
This boss utilizes the Protect from Mage prayer on Hard mode, meaning you'll need someone in your party with an alternate T31 weapon. Ragnar Wolfblood will deactivate your prayers periodically if you're the one he's targeting, so keep an eye on your prayer at all times.
Ragnar Wolfblood introduces two new mechanics to the raid - a frostfire attack which rains down from the sky and instakills anything in its path, and a circling mechanic you need to move away from. You can avoid both of these effectively by angling your camera from above, allowing you to see if your character is standing on either of these, and move away to safety to allow you to continue the fight.
Ragnar also has two Frost Archers on separate podiums which need to be killed before progressing into the next room - you can kill these during the fight to help you survive more easily, or after killing the boss.
The next area contains some Frost Archers and many sabertooths - you'll need to clear all of these from the area while dodging frostfire attacks from the Ice Dragon in order to move into the next area and fight the third boss of the raid.
Ice Dragon
This boss utilizes the Protect from Melee prayer on Hard mode, meaning you'll need someone in your party with an alternate T31 weapon. Ice Dragon will deactivate your prayers periodically if you're the one he's targeting, so keep an eye on your prayer at all times.
The Ice Dragon uses the Frostfire attack we've seen throughout the raid, but also introduces a new mechanic - a 3x3 fire aoe attack, signposted by small flames signaling the center of the attack. This attack will hit two ticks after the initial indicator, giving you a short time to move before being hit by constant 300s. You'll need to move at least two tiles away from the indicator due to the attack being 3x3 to avoid taking any damage.
Once the Ice Dragon has been slain, move onto the next area by selecting one of the two cave entrances.
Mammoth
If you fail to find the correct cave entrance, you'll enter the Mammoth room. This room has the frostfire mechanic from before which you'll need to dodge, and once the boss is low HP it'll spawn some mini Dinos which you'll remember from the first boss. Fortunately, these don't need to be killed in order to kill the boss, so you can focus on killing the Mammoth and move onto the next and final room of the raid.
Immortal Mage
Welcome to the hardest fight of the raid - the Immortal Mage. The Immortal mage will deactivate your prayers periodically if you're the one he's targeting, so keep an eye on your prayer at all times.
This boss has some unique mechanics - if every member of your party doesn't move once every 12 ticks, the boss will initiate a heal mechanic which won't stop until the boss is dead. So in order to kill the boss quickly, make sure you're moving at least once every 12 ticks.
The Immortal Mage will spawn a clone of itself when its health has been lowered. The health of the two bosses needs to be nearly the same on each boss otherwise they will heal a large amount, so make sure you're keeping an eye on both of them as a team and keeping them as close as possible.
You'll need to avoid frostfire mechanics while moving around this room, as well as dodging more attacks the boss will throw your way while disabling the prayer of the main target of each of them.
Once the boss reaches 25% health, you will be frozen in place for 10-20 seconds, after which time you will be unfrozen and free to move again.
Now you've reached the end of the raid, you'll be given an Icy Key which you can use to open the chest, or you can save them up and open them all in one go.
